Veteran producer and showrunner Jeremy Spiegel serves as executive producer of the Emmy®-winning newsmagazine "Extra” and as Senior Executive Producer of the nationally syndicated newsmagazine “True Crime News.”

Spiegel also co-created and executive produced the Lifetime true crime series “Elizabeth Smart: Finding Justice.”

Spiegel has traveled the world to cover every high-profile story of the past three decades, including both O.J. Simpson trials, the Olympics and JFK Jr.’s plane crash as well as the Oscars.

He also co-created and executive produced the Emmy®-winning series "Crime Watch Daily with Chris Hansen," the CW reality series "H8R," daytime talk show "Dr. Drew's Lifechangers," and "Inside the Vault," a nationally syndicated talk show produced by Telepictures, Liquid Thread and General Motors.

Spiegel is a frequent speaker, moderator and guest lecturer and often provides expert commentary on American pop culture topics for international news broadcasts, particularly in Italy.

He was recently featured in the best-selling biography “JFK Junior, An Intimate Oral Biography.”

Spiegel began his television career at FOX in New York.
